Fabryx and United Rugby Championship (URC) have teamed up to launch an online merchandise store for the leading Rugby brand. URC clothing is now available for fans to order online from URC.shop, with a wide range of products all to be printed to order. Fabryx technology platform powers the store and links into a state of the art UK print and embroidery facility to customise the product as and when orders are placed, with delivery direct to URC customers.
Fabryx’ on demand model was selected by URC because it allows the brand to offer a wide range of products without the need for stock risk and storage. As orders are taken through the website they will be processed and sent to a UK production facility which will customise the products to the customers specifications and then deliver directly to their chosen address. This model brings the possibilities of an e-commerce offering to brands who have a strong following and support but don’t want to manage infrastructure around payments, manufacturing, supply chains and distribution. Fabryx industry leading lead times means customers orders are turned around within days, so the benefits of on demand production don’t impact customer experience.
David Evans, Head of Commercial from URC said “We are delighted to be able to launch a fully bespoke front end website, with the full support of Fabryx. Fabryx takes care of everything, from site design and hosting through to delivery and customer service. The experience has been first class from start to finish, with Fabryx on hand to help with product selection and design and hassle-free management of the merchandise, allowing us to focus on running a world class sporting competition.”
Michael Conway, Founder of Fabryx commented “Fabryx can help enterprise brands add an online retail presence for their fans or members quicker than ever before. It has been a pleasure to work with URC to help them get a bespoke online store set up and make offering URC merch unbelievably easy, whilst being fully integrated into the URC single sign on. The store looks great and is easy for members to order from, with seamless, sustainable on demand production right here in the UK.”
After forming in 2022 Fabryx has fast become the solution for clubs, teams and organisations to allow their members to order merchandise. With enterprise solutions available major brands can have their own fully bespoke store on their own domain in a matter of weeks.
Fabryx was recently acquired by Clothes2order, the UKs favourite custom branded clothing supplier so are now in a position to take on many more stores, anticipating onboarding more than 1,000 in the next 12 months. Clothes2order print and dispatch millions of custom branded items each year from their Manchester HQ and have the capacity to support significant growth on the platform.
